It is not political to say Black Lives Matter.
Politics are the tool by which the ruling class continue to separate and oppress Black Lives. Politicians play both sides to keep the “peace”. The illusion of peace which we all snuggle up to because it’s easier than facing the hard truth. That in order for Black Lives to really matter we (white people) have to change, and change brings discomfort, and the real truth of racism is that it’s more convenient to allow it, to stay silent than to stand against it.
Black Lives Matter. As do Black Thoughts, Prayers, Wishes, Needs, Wants, Employment Opportunities, Education, Housing, and Medical Care.
Black Lives Matter.
Listen to Black people. Hear Black people. Love Black people. Stand with and for Black Lives, because they Matter.
