It’s Tarantino.
Overall this movie isn’t his best work, but as a kid growing up I remember being very afraid of Manson, and the crimes he convinced others to commit. He was in jail by the time I joined Earth, but just the thought that evil on that level existed outside of the imagination was terrifying. Tarantino’s alt-history twist in this movie makes me really happy.
Brad Pitt’s character is like the baddest bad-ass in cinema.
