I read this book for the first time in 2021. It really made an impression on me, so much so I decided to read all of his novels in order in 2021. I am not one to idolize others, as that always leads to disappointment, but I’m not yet free of the trap of admiration. Thus far Kurt hasn’t let me down, hoping it stays that way.
