Excellent read. A few things struck me as I consumed.
Picking good text is a process of depth and abstract feeling. It requires a lof of observation and analysis of the type candidates.
You could spend several lifetimes just perfecting one aspect of type as your life's work. That is both overwhelming and incredible.
When typesetting the order of operations for adjusting the type is typeface (font-family), size (font-size), measure (width), and leading (line-height)
